Gentry WM Adds Another Wealth Advisor From Fidelity

Gentry Wealth Management has hired Marty Bender as a wealth advisor from Fidelity Investments. Bender was at Fidelity for over 15 years and there managed around 450 client relationships worth some $750 million with the firm. He spent the last 11 years at the Chandler, AZ, office, of which he was a founding member. He is the latest addition to an expanding team at Gentry, after the firm tapped Fidelity for two wealth advisors for its Las Vegas, NV, office last August. Dave Humphrey joined from Fidelity Investments, where he worked for 18 years, focusing on high net worth individual clients. Taiya Thompson joined from Fidelity’s private client group, where she was a vice president and senior account executive. According to Gentry, the duo worked as part of a team which managed over $1 billion in assets at Fidelity. As well as Las Vegas and Scottsdale, AZ, Gentry has an office in Salt Lake City, UT.
